Chilli Paneer


Ingredients

  1. Paneer – 500 g (cut into medium cubes)
  2. Ginger-garlic paste – 1 Tbsp
  3. Kashmiri chilli powder – 1 Tsp
  4. Crushed black pepper – 1 1/2Tsp
  5. Tomato sauce – 2 Tbsp
  6. Red chilli sauce – 1 Tbsp
  7. Soya sauce – 1 Tbsp
  8. Cornflour – 2 Tbsp
  9. All-purpose flour – 3 Tbsp
  10. Garlic – 3 cloves (finely chopped)
  11. Green chilli – 1 no (finely chopped)
  12. Onion – 2 nos ( cut into big cubes)
  13. Capsicum – 2 nos ( cut into big squares)
  14. Lime juice – 1 Tbsp
  15. Honey – 1/2 Tsp
  16. Spring onion – for garnishing
  17. Salt – to taste
  18. Oil – for frying & Sauting

Preparation

  1. Marinate paneer with chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste, salt, 1/2 Tsp pepper powder for 2 hours.
  2. Mix cornflour, All-purpose flour with little water till we get a consistency to coat the paneer for frying.
  3. Dip paneer pieces in the batter and deep fry.
  4. Heat one pan and pour oil.
  5. Add chopped garlic, green chillies, onion, capsicum.
  6. Saute for 2 minutes. Add all sauces, lime juice & honey.
  7. Adjust salt and add fried paneer pieces. Mix well.

  8. Garnish with finely chopped spring onion.
