Chicken Pakora



Ingredients

  1. Chicken strips – 250 gms ( small pieces)
  2. Onion – 2 nos (finely chopped)
  3. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  4. Green chilly – 2 nos ( finely chopped)
  5. Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
  6. Curry leaves – 1 tbsp 
  7. Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
  8. Cumin seed powder – a pinch
  9. Besan / kadalamavu – 2 tbsp
  10. Maida – 2 tbsp
  11. Rice flour – 1 tsp
  12. Asafoetida – a pinch
  13. Salt – to taste
  14. Baking soda – a pinch
  15. Oil – for frying

Preparation

  1. Take all ingredients in a bowl except oil and mix it well.

  2. Keep this aside for 30 minutes.

  3. Heat oil in a pan.

  4. Take a little amount of mixture and drop this in hot oil.

  5. Fry it on low flame till this becomes golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.
